Every individual job has different needs including policies, scopes, hazards, how to address it, training, responsibilities and safety concerns. These are all attended to with your own site specific plan designed specifically for you. At Allied Roofing we believe in creating a safe work environment not only for our staff, but for those surrounding us. It is our policy that any unsafe conditions are reported and fixed prior to continuation in an insecure work site. We offer a safety class that all employees must attend to ensure safety as a top priority on job sites. We also provide a safety manual and hazardous material program to educate our team on safety procedures as a preventative measure. In addition to Allied being OSHA certified as well as our jobsites, our foreman have all attended and are certified by a 10 hour OSHA class.

           To ensure all Allied employees are aware of the hazardous substances they work with, we have adopted the OSHA employee Hazard Communication Standard, (HCS). This standard requires employers to provide employee training in the safe use of hazardous substances found on the job. This handbook provided to all Allied employees is part of your employer’s compliance program. The information provided helps to increase our knowledge of the safe handling of hazardous substances through a review of:

       o   Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)

       o   Substance Labeling

       o   Personal Protection

       o   Common Hazardous Substance Terminology           

           By encompassing the information provided to our crews, it is beneficial to you, the consumer in many ways. The application of these materials will be easier to apply through their knowledge of handling them safely, the MSDS information helps to improve the work quality, the more educated they are in the work required, the more professional they will be, and the ability to practice safe handling will result in a safer working environment for everyone; workers, bystanders, occupants, general public, and the project itself that is underway.
